INVITATION FOR PROSPECTIVE SUPPLIERS AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDERS TO REGISTER ON THE SOUTHERN AFRICA INSTITUTE FOR ARTISANS (SAIFA) – COMMUNITY WORKS PROGRAMME SUPPLIER DATABASE
The Community Works Programme (CWP) is a government programme. The primary purpose of CWP is to create access to a minimum level of regular and predictable work opportunities for those who need them, targeting areas of high levels of poverty and unemployment, where sustainable alternatives and limited and likely to remain so for the foreseeable future.

SAIFA was appointed by the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs to implement CWP in 3 provinces: Gauteng, Northern Cape, and Limpopo. Amongst its responsibilities as an implementing agent is the procurement of goods and services. It is for this reason that SAIFA would like to invite service providers and suppliers to register on the SAIFA-CWP database. Suppliers will be registering to provide the following goods and/or services:

  • Supply of Tools and Materials
  • Supply of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Skills Development Training
  • Technical Support Services (e.g. catering, transportation, consultation services)
