There are various independent institutions that offer tools and resources to prepare students to write NBT tests. These tools are in the form of online resources, questionnaires, and tutoring, as well as question papers/ booklets with exemplary questions.
1.NBT Prep APP – Advantage Learn Organization
The Advantage Learn Technology has developed an NBT Prep APP which can be found in the Playstore. This APP can provide assistance especially for figuring out the NBT Requirements of the University one wants to apply to.

The NBT Prep APP will help a students know whether or not they need to write both the Literacy and Maths NBT tests, and when is the University’s closing date for the following academic year applications.

 
2.OLICO Organization
This organization is in partnership with the Department of Education WC and they have a free online practice questions for NBT preparation. Also, attached is a copy of their exemplar questions that can be printed out for practice purposes.

 
3. Practice Geeks
These online resource helps the students to prepare for the South African NBT with our free practice test. Covers Academic Literacy, Quantitative Literacy, and Mathematics sections with detailed explanations to boost your university admission prospects.
