INTRODUCTION
Andru mining is an opencast mining service contractor, committed to giving the best service benefit to clients, maintaining unimpeachable standard of ethics and integrity, thereby undertaking all activities with the highest regard for safety by achieving maximum potential of all employees as as maintaining and operating current plan to achieve optimum utilization. Being located in various provinces, where we servicing a range of different commodity groups including Coal, Chrome and other mining services, the company have the opportunities below in the North West Province, Rusternburg and hereby invites suitable candidates, preferable residing around Rusternburg, to submit their applications as directed herein.

Requirements: the essential requirements for the position includes:
• Grade 12 or equivalent and valid driver’s license.
• Must have Blasting certificate ticket.
• Must have at least 3years’ experience as Blaster in an Opencast Mining environment.
• Explosive Management Qualification will be an added advantage.
• Must be able to pass medical examination.

Key Performance Area: the successful candidate must be able to discharge the following, amongst others:
• Loading explosives in blast holes by hand, or directing bulk explosives trucks to load holes.
• Connecting electrical wires, detonating cords or fuse into series and connecting the series to blasting machines.
• Reading and interpreting instructions or diagrams.
